Mark Naismith was born and grew up in San Francisco, where he went to Lowell High School with Mitch Juricich. He is a long time Niner fan, as well as an avid Bay Area sports fan in general. After completing his undergraduate degree at USF, and earning an MBA at Santa Clara University, he went to work for the Hewlett Packard Company, and spent over twenty years there in various management positions, including a six year stint with HP International. Upon leaving HP, Mark had spent most of the last ten years working in the not-for-profit sector with organizations like The Tides Foundation, Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, and Mid-Peninsula Housing Coalition. Mark is also a business and writing contributor to HookedonGolf.com He lives on the Peninsula with his wife and two young daughters. As he likes to say, "I'm an old man with young kids."
